香港食物環(huán)境衛(wèi)生署食物安全中心（中心）九月十四日宣布，因應(yīng)世界動物衛(wèi)生組織通報，指印度恰蒂斯加爾邦、北方邦、古吉拉特邦、旁遮普邦、中央邦和馬哈拉施特拉邦共三十個地區(qū)爆發(fā)高致病性H5N1和H5N8禽流感，中心即時指示業(yè)界暫停從有關(guān)地區(qū)進口禽肉及禽類產(chǎn)品（包括禽蛋），以保障本港公眾健康。

　　中心發(fā)言人說，香港目前與印度只建立禽蛋進口機制，并無禽肉進口機制。根據(jù)政府統(tǒng)計處的資料，今年首六個月本港沒有從該國進口禽蛋。

 

　　發(fā)言人說：「中心已就事件聯(lián)絡(luò)印度當局，并會繼續(xù)密切留意世界動物衛(wèi)生組織及有關(guān)當局發(fā)出關(guān)于爆發(fā)禽流感的消息，因應(yīng)當?shù)匾咔榘l(fā)展，采取適當行動?！?/div>
